Thailand ICD’s recent market research has showed that Brother has gained the market share with top sale amount for two consecutive quarters, where the total market size of the first two quarters in 2005 was 20,279 sets.
Mr. Somchai Soongsawang, Managing Director of Brother Commercial (Thailand) Ltd. reveals that IDC Thailand’s research has showed that Laser Multi-Function Peripherals (MFP) market in Thailand has been continuously growing and suppose to the highest growth in this region, especially for Laser MFP of A4 size paper. In the first half of this year, the market size was 20,279 sets; the first quarter was 10,101 sets, while the top three market leaders are Brother 31%, Samsung 25% and HP 24%. For the second quarter, the market size was 10,178 sets, while the top three market leaders are Brother 44%, HP 29% and Samsung 12%.
