Héritage at BaselWorld : Marking the revival of Louis Erard

The H?ritage Collection, including these completely new Cadran Paris models, bears witness to the rebirth of the Brand. Although principally masculine in inspiration, we feel sure that they will also find favour with numerous women drawn to large watches.

With the Chronograph version in particular, Louis Erard shows mechanical timepiece enthusiasts that expertise, uncompromising quality and the use of complications can go hand in hand with affordability.

The H?ritage Cadran Paris Chronograph contains an ETA 7750 automatic mechanical movement, with hour, minute, second, date and chronograph functions. The traditional vertical arrangement of the 30 minute and 12 hour counters, at twelve and six o’clock respectively, black on a white dial and white on a black dial, adds to the distinctive character of this watch, giving it a highly contemporary look, as do the Arab numerals with their attractive oversized design. The 40.5 mm case is completely round, with double bezel and sapphire crystal, on a black or deep brown imitation crocodile leather bracelet with a deployment buckle. This watch is guaranteed
water-resistant to 50 metres.

Our other new creation is the Heritage Cadran Paris Quanti?me version. Also fitted with an ETA automatic mechanical movement, this understated, elegant and yet fashionable watch has a black or white dial with calendar aperture, in the same modern steel case on a black or brown bracelet.

Louis Erard stands by its mid-market position, proving that design, quality and elegance can be combined at a reasonable price.

Lovers of fine timepieces will doubtless initially be surprised, then won over, just like Italian “Orologio” magazine, which awarded Louis Erard its readers’ Prix Argo 2004 first prize in the Price-Quality Ratio category.

Now that’s enlightening!
