ในวันอังคารที่ 23 พฤศจิกายน 2547 จะมีการจัดงานสัมมนาระดับภูมิภาคเพื่ออุตสาหกรรมเยื่อ และกระดาษขึ้นที่โรงแรมอินเตอร์คอนติเนนตัล กรุงเทพฯ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “วิธีการพัฒนาคุณภาพและกำลัง การผลิตด้วยเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่” ( “HOW TO IMPROVE BOTH QUALITY AND CAPACITY WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY?” )
การสัมมนาดังกล่าว มุ่งนำเสนอวิธีการทางเทคนิคและเครื่องมืออุตสาหกรรมที่ช่วยเพิ่ม ประสิทธิภาพในการแข่งขันให้กับผู้ประกอบการภาคอุตสาหกรรมเยื่อและกระดาษ
รูปแบบของงานจะประกอบด้วยการบรรยายในหัวข้อต่างๆ ตลอดจนการนำเสนอกรณีศึกษา และ การจัดการประชุมพบปะกลุ่มย่อย ตลอดการสัมมนา จะมีนักแปลทำหน้าที่แปลการบรรยายจากภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาไทยอย่าง ต่อเนื่อง
งานสัมมนาครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศไทย, “UBIFRANCE” สำนักงานพัฒนาธุรกิจระหว่างประเทศแห่งประเทศฝรั่งเศส และ “SCIPAG-EMBALCO” สมาคมผู้ผลิต เครื่องจักรในอุตสาหกรรมเยื่อและกระดาษแห่งประเทศฝรั่งเศส (the French Paper Machine Manufacturers Association) โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมของไทยและสมาคม อุตสาหกรรมเยื่อและกระดาษไทย

REGIONAL SEMINAR ON PAPER INDUSTRY HOW TO IMPROVE BOTH QUALITY AND CAPACITY WITH NEW TECHNOLOGY ?
A regional seminar on paper industry will take place on Tuesday 23 November 2004 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Bangkok.
This seminar will focus on technical issues and industrial solutions to enhance the competitiveness of the paper industry.
It will bring together conferences, cases studies and individual meetings.
All conferences will be simultaneously translated from English to Thai.
This event is organised by The French Embassy in Thailand, UBIFRANCE (the French Agency for International Business Development) and the French Paper Machine manufacturers Association (SCIPAG-EMBALCO), with the support of the Thai Ministry of Industry and the Thai Pulp and Paper Industry Association.
